Analytical Model for the Pressure Performance Analysis of Multi-Fractured Horizontal Wells in Volcanic Reservoirs

چکیده

Multi-fractured horizontal well (MFHW) technology is a key for developing unconventional reservoirs, which can generate complex fracture network called stimulated reservoir volume (SRV). Currently, there are many relative analytical models to describe the fluid seepage law, not suitable volcanic reservoirs as of yet. The reasons follows: (1) due development natural fractures, multi-scaled flow (matrix, SRV) should be considered characterize MFHW in reservoirs; (2) non-Darcy and stress sensitivity simultaneously reservoirs. Thus, this paper presents novel analysis model that uses multi-scale dual-porosity medium mechanisms. Laplace transformation, Duhamel principle, perturbation method Stehfest numerical inversion employed solve obtain dynamic pressure response curves. results show curve divided into eight stages. Sensitivity shows parameters hydraulic fractures mainly affect early stage. SRV region middle unreconstructed regions, late

Performance Model for Vertical Wells with Multi-stage Horizontal Hydraulic Fractures in Water Flooded Multilayer Reservoirs

For the characteristics of horizontal fractures in shallow low-permeability oil layers after hydraulic fracturing in multilayer reservoirs, horizontal fractures are taken equivalent to an elliptical cylinder with the reservoir thickness using the equivalent permeability model; then, upon the elliptic seepage theory, the seepage field which has led by a vertical well with horizontal fractures is...

Application of Decline Curve Analysis for Estimating Different Properties of Closed Fractured Reservoirs for Vertical Wells

In this paper, decline curve analysis is used for estimating different parameters of bounded naturally fractured reservoirs. This analysis technique is based on rate transient technique, and it is shown that if production rate is plotted against time on a semi-log graph, straight lines are obtained that can be used to determine important parameters of the closed fractured reservoirs. The equati...

Transient Pressure Analysis of Pressure Sensitive Naturally Fractured Reservoirs

This paper presents the results of a study with the main aim of investigating the effect of considering the pressure sensitivity of the natural fractures of a fissured formation on the transient pressure analysis of well tests. Two motivations for this study were as follows. First, many (or most in some cases) of the producing reservoirs (geothermal and petroleum) are naturally fractured, showi...

Efficient simulation of hydraulic fractured wells in unconventional reservoirs

Reservoir simulators remain essential tools for improved reservoir management in order to optimize hydraulic fracturing design in unconventional low permeability reservoirs. However, the commonly-used simulator requires too much computational efforts for the description of local phenomena in the vicinity of the hydraulic fractures, and is practically infeasible for field applications, due to la...
